About the Position
The Commercial Operations Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities through the distribution network in the Latam region. This role will work closely with the Commercial Director to implement the Werfen strategy and achieve sales excellence practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with distributors and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with Werfen's values and strategic selling frameworks.
- Develop a deep understanding of local market trends, drivers, and needs to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Provide business and marketing advice to distributors to improve their competitive advantage.
- Ensure effective execution of the tactical plan for each distributor and oversee progress.
- Conduct regular visits to distributors and end clients to maintain strong relationships and implement value selling and strategic selling.
- Develop financial planning strategies with each distributor to ensure optimal financial terms.
- Support the preparation and negotiation of public tenders and private labs.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust forecasts regularly.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and oversee the troubleshooting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a scientific or biomedical field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with distribution networks in the Latam region.
- Experience and knowledge in IVD and/or Medical and/or Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Language: Spanish and English proficiency.
- Proven experience leading indirect or direct teams.
