Job Title: Territory Sales Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Global Building Supplies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within a designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory goals and objectives
- Manage territory sales activities, including prospecting, cold calling, and upselling existing accounts
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in retail and technology sectors
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and competitive trends
- Collaborate with inside sales teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery
- Train and mentor team members on effective sales techniques and product knowledge
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profitability
Requirements:
- Proven experience in territory sales management or similar roles, preferably in technology or retail sales
- Strong skills in software applications relevant to sales management and reporting
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures
- Experience in upselling products or services to existing customers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and team members
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
