Security Leader at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

The RoleThe Security Leader will be responsible for implementing security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our guests, employees, and property. This includes designing and managing preventive safety and security programs, investigating crimes, documenting incidents, and assisting hotel staff with unusual situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement all policies and procedures regarding security and safety.
- Design, implement, and manage preventive safety and security programs.
- Investigate crimes committed against the hotel, guests, and employees.
- Document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities, and insurance requirements.
- Assist hotel staff in handling unusual guest or employee problems, such as disorderly conduct, thefts, suicides, bomb threats, employee or guest accidents, fire or safety hazards, robberies, terrorist activities, civil disturbances, power or elevator failures, medical assistance, and natural disasters.
- Keep abreast of developments within the hotel and community as they relate to security and act as a liaison with local law-enforcement agencies.
- Take an active role in the development and implementation of the hotel's fire plan and test the hotel's Fire and Emergency Response preparedness.
- Take responsibility for all training related to the hotel's emergency procedures and conduct bi-annual Fire Drills.
- Develop a yearly budget for the department.
- Chair the Health and Safety Committees in the hotel.
To be successful in this role, you'll need 2-4 years of experience in a related position, preferably with Four Seasons or another organization. You should have previous administration experience in lifesaving and property protection situations, including CPR, first aid, firefighting, and crowd control. Previous police or security experience is also beneficial. Additionally, you'll need to be able to operate computer equipment and speak, write, and read English fluently.
What We OfferWe're proud to offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. You'll also receive a comprehensive benefits package, excellent training and development opportunities, complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons hotels and resorts, complimentary dry cleaning for employee uniforms, and complimentary employee meals. This is a full-time position with regular working hours.
