As an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will play a key role in ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and service.
About the Role:
The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the work of employees and managers in the Food & Beverage Division. This includes ensuring exceptional service, attention to detail, and maintaining high levels of productivity. As a leader, you will be accountable for driving results, developing talent, and promoting a culture of excellence within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees and managers in multiple Food & Beverage operations and outlets to ensure established cultural and core standards are met.Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit.Maintain relationships with regular guests and cultivate new relationships through excellent customer service and communication skills.Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and Sous Chefs to design an effective menu and wine list that ensures excellent product quality at a fair price.Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.Assist with service in all Food & Beverage outlets and assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas.Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years previous experience in multiple food & beverage department head positions.
- A working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- The ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

We offer a competitive salary, including a base salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement. Schedule & Hours:
