As a Global Shipping Specialist, you will collaborate closely with carriers to oversee and implement the daily transportation of goods for our clients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the precision of shipment details, monitoring and tracing loads, and resolving any issues that may arise. Our Global Shipping Specialists excel in a dynamic environment and leverage their strong communication abilities to cultivate and enhance relationships with our carriers. Responsibilities:
  • Grasp the procedures involved in international logistics from order placement to delivery.
  • Assist carriers and other stakeholders with inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Provide tracking and tracing services for client shipments.
  • Generate, organize, and maintain current customer records, reports, shipment documentation, etc.
  • Offer reporting and documentation support to global forwarding personnel and ensure the integrity of customer data.
  • Conduct load audits and verify the accuracy of all information.
  • Ensure compliance with customer Standard Operating Procedures, government regulations, and C.H. Robinson company standards.
  • Promptly escalate shipment issues or potential discrepancies to the Supervisor and Account Manager as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to customer Standard Operating Procedures, government regulations, and C.H. Robinson company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental filings and regulations such as Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and U.S Department of Commerce, etc.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
