About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Scotiabank's team as a ServiceNow Configuration Specialist. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow across our global enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on ServiceNow configuration and customization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow configurations, scripts, and integrations to support business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow product releases and advancements, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of hands-on technical experience as a ServiceNow Administrator in a medium or large enterprise organization.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows) and networking concepts (IP addressing, firewalls, ports).
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Java scripting is a definite asset.

Working Conditions

This role will be based in a standard office environment, with non-standard hours common. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
