Provide exceptional software application/system support to customers working with complex software systems, reproducing reported issues, and applying diagnostic analysis to solve problems.
Excellent written and verbal skills are required, with confidence in customer-facing discussions and internal technical teams.
A strong work ethic, flexibility, and technical skills for basic to mid-level customer support are essential.
This opportunity offers professional growth in skills and technical knowledge with a world-class organization in payment processing.
You will work during US business hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, and provide rotation on-call hours during evenings and weekends.
Required Experience and Capabilities:
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Strong experience with LINUX/UNIX/AIX/SOLARIS/WINDOWS operating systems.
- Proficient in JAVA, troubleshooting application logfiles.
- Knowledgeable in TCP/IP networking.
- Database experience in ORACLE and Postgres.
- Proficient in online and remote-connecting software.
- Excellent time and task management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a professional office environment.
- Proficient in a voice-chat environment.
- Able to adhere to internal documentation requirements and time tracking.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years of customer service experience in a helpdesk environment.
- 1 year or more of basic technical support experience.
- Understanding of IBM Message Queue (MQ), IBM Websphere (WAS), IBM AIX, Fedwire Funds Service standards, SWIFT FIN & gpi global standards.
