About the Role:

Equisoft is seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. This role involves designing tailored messages for target accounts, building relationships with key stakeholders, and growing our sales pipeline. You will also focus on managing and qualifying inbound leads, researching new target accounts, and developing effective sales strategies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads through various methods, including cold calling, emailing, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers and understand their needs, interests, and pain points.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, establish and maintain relationships with customers, and monitor market trends.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and quotes.
  • Track customer accounts and update customer information in our CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relationship-building or sales role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in sales and business development.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Excellent knowledge of English & Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
