About the Role

The Customer Success Engineer position at Quorum Software is a key role in building relationships with new and existing customers in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing the onboarding process, providing technical and customer support, and user training on the application.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard existing clients converting to OGsys On Demand from our current product, OGSQL, as well as new OGSYS clients.
  • Handle initial case intake both over the phone and through email.
  • Perform first line triage support for OGsys on Demand clients answering basic questions and assisting clients navigate the system.
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.
  • Escalate more complex inquires to tier 3 Support.
  • Inform Support Leadership of potential client issues and problems early to ensure they receive proper attention.
  • Document and maintain all client information in Salesforce to include recording all calls, emails and customer communication.
  • Create and maintain OGsys product documentation and online training videos.
  • Perform entry-level Quality Assurance testing for OGsys on Demand software development.
  • Develop/Maintain SOP for troubleshooting technical problems.
  • Participate in oil & gas accounting training.
  • Seek opportunities to expand on personal knowledge of OGsys applications.
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university and/or 2 years of industry experience.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including Salesforce, electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas accounting principles preferred
  • OGsys Experience is a plus
