At United, we operate at airports worldwide, and we require a dedicated team to ensure seamless operations. From the check-in area to the departure gates, our Airport Operations team plays a crucial role in maintaining efficiency and service excellence every day.

Key Responsibilities:

As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will create meaningful connections and foster an atmosphere where everyone feels appreciated and respected. Your role involves engaging with our international clientele in our terminals and at gates, assisting with ticketing, managing baggage, and warmly welcoming customers as they embark on their journeys. You will deliver friendly, professional, and insightful service to address customer travel concerns and enhance their overall experience.

Your Duties Include:

  • Serving as a proactive member of the team, the Lead Customer Service Representative (CSR) is available to assist both internal and external customers.
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Providing day-to-day leadership, promoting employee empowerment, and offering coaching and feedback to management.
  • Acting as the team coordinator, fostering goal achievement and accountability among frontline staff.
  • Performing additional functions within the scope of duties to ensure high-quality customer service.

This position is offered under local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and visa sponsorship will not be provided.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated reliability and professionalism.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Conflict resolution skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Adaptability to various work standards and responsibilities.
  • Experience in public contact or customer service roles.
  • Eligibility to live and work in Colombia without visa sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of the interview process is required.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is essential.
  • Availability to work any shift, including holidays and weekends, in a 24-hour operational environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Visa.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience in airport operations.
  • International GSC qualification.
  • Familiarity with the region.
  • Valid passport and Visa.
