Job Description



We are seeking an Expert Software Support Specialist to join our Energy Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing Energy Components Level 2 Application Software Support and managing incident, service request, change, and problem management.



You will diagnose, troubleshoot, solve code errors, and fix bug issues within software applications within SLAs. You will participate in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software changes. You will understand and assess customer-reported issues to determine prioritization and ensure our customers have a positive experience by driving timely first response, customer updates, and support resolutions.



You will implement and support master data management solutions, integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to consult and provide solutions to customers, and manage and ensure documentation of assigned incidents, including internal and external communications.



You will provide mentoring and technical knowledge sharing to junior team members, work closely with Continuous Service Manager for process improvement and delivering high-quality standards & products, and maintain strong adherence to Service Level Agreements.



You will be able to work effectively with global cross-functional teams and be responsible for periodic after-hours on-call support for critical issues. You will ensure successful completion of personal and team deliverables and perform other duties as assigned.



Required Skills and Qualifications



To be successful in this role, you must possess at least a bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.



You must have at least 3 years of working experience in delivering solution support or solution implementation and good technical skills in software technologies such as Java, Oracle PL/SQL within Linux and Windows environment.



You must have strong technical experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, solving code errors, and fixing bug issues within software applications and good experience in writing monitoring and automation scripts using Perl or Shell.



You must be experienced in Datacenter & Cloud Infrastructure services (i.e., AWS and Azure) and ITIL Concepts of IT Service Management and how it applies to IT Customer Support, Ticket Resolutions, and Escalations.



You must be experienced in using IT Service Management Tools (Salesforce, ServiceNOW, JIRA, ADO, etc.) to manage Customer Service Management engagements and proficient in Microsoft Office products.



You must have good analytical, problem-solving skills to resolve issues as well as providing short-term and long-term solutions. Candidates with experience in Oil and Gas industry and/or hydrocarbon accounting are encouraged to apply.
