About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Consultant to join our team in Colombia. As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and upgrading our TIA solution for new and existing customers. You will work closely with our customers, leads, managers, analysts, and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing new functionalities and fixing defects in our TIA solution
  • Developing new solutions and technical designs
  • Conducting technical analysis, summarizing, and presenting findings
  • Preparing and presenting technical solution designs
  • Participating or leading technical product and skills workshops
  • Reviewing requirements and technical design along with QA of set-up, design, architecture, and infrastructure
  • Optimizing performance
  • Contributing to requirements documents, validating requirements received, and proactively suggesting different alternatives
  • Preparing technical design/configuration documents
  • Conducting technical workshops
  • Preparing and delivering technical TIA trainings
  • Building solutions based on TIA core functionality and best practices
  • Proactively communicating with customers, leads, managers, analysts, and testing teams
  • Couching and mentoring more junior team members through workshops and peer reviews
  • Contributing to TIA implementation templates, frameworks, tools, and support for TIA PS Centre of Excellence
  • Providing support throughout the project lifecycle

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about development and has real experience and methods supporting Sapiens, its stakeholders across the globe. The nature of the role will require being independent, capable of solving problems, making decisions, and implementing requirements while demonstrating problem-solving skills, coordination, and taking ownership of results.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Oracle PLSQL developer or 2+ years of experience with TIA solution
  • Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated experience of implementing technical solutions/changes
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge into useful, structured, practical advice
  • Analytical skills

Optional skills include knowledge of agile scrum methodology, experience with insurance information systems, experience with TIA solution, experience with Oracle ADF/forms/Weblogic, experience with web services (SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST), and experience with defining IT architecture and infrastructure in co-operation with the client, along with standard solutions, methodologies, and project planning.
