About this role: As a Desktop Support Associate at TTEC, you will be the spark that brightens days and ignites your career. You will be part of bringing humanity to business, working onsite in Barranquilla, Colombia, and contributing to the company's award-winning employment experience.
In this role, you will be the hero for all forefront associates, helping to navigate and deliver basic IT support daily. You will be exposed to many different IT scenarios, perfect for growing your own tech expertise and becoming well-rounded with information.
What you'll be doing:
- Proactively recognize, translate, and resolve technical issues affecting agents on site.
- Provide user-level technical support by installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues.
- Bridge an end-to-end resolution during the help ticket life cycle.
- Work to resolve issues over Zoom by walking the associate through troubleshooting processes.
- Monitor and prioritize ticketed requests based on status, updates, and escalations.
What you bring to the role:
- An IT-related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT.
- 6 months BPO industry experience.
- Basic IT knowledge and desktop support – basic hardware and software navigation and troubleshooting.
- A passion to seek first to understand and translate – read between the lines to find a possible solution.
- Execute walk-throughs and solutions to the IT problem over Zoom meetings.
