Mission: The role of a Field Sales Engineer is to Develop and execute key account plans to expand customer base and customer share in the Colombia, Ecuador & Central America market. The customer group includes Crude Palm Oil industries which has Alfa Laval equipment. Your speaking partners may vary from Industrial Plant Managers to Directors.

Responsabilities include, but not limited to:

- Responsibility to grow sales & profitability in the CPO Market.
- Responsible for direct sales and building strong relationships with customers.
- Visit existing Alfa Laval customers in the territory, advise customers and generate Sales enquiries.
- Resolve customer’s problems or queries.
- Understand the customer needs and recognizing new business opportunities by being successful in expanding our customer base and in growing our share at existing customers.
- Support our customers in optimizing their processes.

**Profile**:
Bachelor/University degree in Engineering (chemical, agroindustrial, mechanical, industrial)

**Experience**:
2 - 5 years of experience in Crude Palm Oil industry, sales experience is a plus

Language: Intermediate English language proficiency.

Knowledge:

- Knowledge in CPO Industry, process & clients in industry
- Knowledge of sales competencies (value selling, negotiation skills, sales planning)
- Market and product knowledge (Alfa Laval Product Portfolio), a plus
- Experience with technical sales (a plus)
- Excellent relationship building abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strategic internal and external relationships quickly and maintain them across all levels of the organization

Travel: Availability to travel at least 75% of the time
