As a Solution Manager (Pre-sales Engineer) for the Thales DIS/IBS (Government programs) team located in Colombia, you will address Latin American customers’ needs in coordination with the sales team to offer the most appropriate technical solutions and you will contribute to the maximization of the solutions turnover and profit margins.

**Responsibilities**
- You will be the technical interface of the solutions area team within the Thales DIS/IBS business line.
- You will drive the definition of solutions for prospects and customers.
- You will understand the technical requirements of the project.
- You will become an expert with Thales’ off-the-shelf solutions and use this knowledge to define the most suited architecture corresponding to the customer’s needs.
- You will define the solutions and system architecture during the pre-bid phase, considering the Product Line proposals as well as the customers’ needs.
- You will lead Proof-Of-Concept solutions and demos within different areas, in accordance with the Business Line and areas strategy.

**Qualifications & Experience**

The Solution Manager must be able to evaluate multiple options to solve complex problems, pay close attention to detail, identify risks, plan activities for executing complex projects and manage multiple sources for identifying project costs and related contingencies.
- Bachelor´s degree in engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pre-Sales engineer and/or project management in technology fields.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (B2).

**Position Requirements**
- Availability to travel internationally within LATAM at least 50% of the time.
- Colombian citizenship or work permit.
- Hybrid role, office based in Bogotá.
