Eaton’s looking for a Datacenter Sales Engineer to our Bogotá location.

**What you’ll do**:
La función principal de un Ingeniero de Ventas es apoyar la generación y consecución de los negocios relacionados con el segmento de Datacenter e IT Distribuida transversalmente en los distribuidores y segmentos de la región Andino Norte con foco en el cliente final, además de proporcionar soluciones efectivas a problemas desafiantes relacionados con cuestiones técnicas y comerciales.

**FUNCIONES ESENCIALES**:

- Ejecutar la estrategia comercial definida por el Gerente del segmento de DC & IT.
- Soportar técnica y comercialmente la detección de oportunidades en lo clientes.
- Apoyar a el equipo de GT y ofertas en la elaboración de las ofertas a nuestros clientes.
- Acompañar a los clientes desde la detección de la oportunidad hasta la entrega a satisfacción del cliente.
- Cerrar ventas basados en una sólida comprensión del proceso de ventas.
- Habilidades demostradas para posicionar a Eaton en un lugar preferente en el Segmento de Centros de Datos e IT Distribuido.
- Proporcionar conocimientos técnicos sólidos acerca de los productos/servicios de la línea de productos de Sistemas de Respaldo, Calidad y Distribución de Energía.
- Respaldar los requerimientos de los usuarios finales en el segmento de Centros de Datos e IT Distribuida en todas las líneas de productos de Eaton en Andino Norte con el objetivo de optimizar el volumen de ventas y la combinación de productos.
- Brindar soporte técnico-comercial de productos a distribuidores e integradores, y otras funciones que le sean asignadas por el Gerente de Ventas en el segmento de Centros de Datos e IT Distribuido.
- Las funciones principales incluyen: interpretación precisa y oportuna del plan y las especificaciones, cotización y soporte técnico, comunicación asertiva con los clientes para facilitar la resolución de problemas.
- Identificación proactiva de ventas potenciales, seguimiento a pedidos.
- Proporcionar informes necesarios solicitados por la Gerencia en tiempo y forma.
- Crear y llevar a cabo sesiones de capacitación formales e informales, incluyendo el personal de Eaton, personal de los distribuidores y clientes finales con todas las tendencias del segmento de Centros de Datos e IT Distribuida.
- Trabajar con los usuarios finales y consultores en el área y segmentos asignados en Eaton que estén orientados al portafolio de EATON.
- Asistir a los más importantes Consultores de Ingeniería para proyectos en el segmento asignado.
- Construir relaciones asertivas con clientes clave para mejorar el volumen de ventas y servicio al cliente.
- Evaluar soluciones efectivas con base en las necesidades del cliente con el propósito de sugerir las customizarlas a la medida para ser costo-efectivos.
- Mantiene en perfecto orden y aseo el sitio de trabajo.
- Conocer y cumplir las políticas y procedimientos internos y de seguridad de la Compañía.
- Cumplir las normas, reglamentos e instrucciones del Sistema de Gestión en Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de la compañía

**Qualifications**:
CONOCIMIENTOS ESPECIALIZADOS:
**Educación**: Estudios superiores en Ingeniería Eléctrica, Electrónica o carreras afines.
- Inglés Intermedio

**Experiência**: Entre 5 y 7 años de experiência relacionada con el mercado Centros de Datos e IT Distribuida en todos los subsistemas que lo componen. Sistemas de Respaldo, calidad y distribución de energía; como también conocimientos sólidos en protocolos de conectividad.
