**Department Overview**: NOLA Channel Business
**- This position will be part of the Channel Sales Team in Colombia and Mexico. You will be responsible for working closely with the Channel Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, leading-edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the challenges of enterprise safety, transportation, logistics, retail and enterprise customers across the region:

- Assist Sales and Customer with specific market strategies
- Develop trusted relationships with work partners and customers
- Conduct internal and external presentations
- Interface with internal teams: Sales Managers and Project Managers.
- Be accountable to the overall system design or solution with descriptions, diagrams and equipment lists, meeting or exceed the customer requirements
- Issue RFQs (Request for Quote) for third-party content and support procurement team in order to reach the best cost-benefit to MSI
- The team concentrates on the following mission-critical communications technologies at various levels of complexity:

- Mobile voice and data networks
- Mobile broadband networks and devices

**Specific Knowledge/Skills**:

- A positive attitude with a can-do mentality that enables you to be creative, resourceful and deliver results
- Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
- Attention to detail and a flawless execution mindset
- Strong general knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures - both public and private (e.g. Astro, P25, TETRA, DMR, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G) is highly desirable.
- Strong general knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of RF coverage predictions, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets is an asset
- Travel: 50% to 75%

**Basic Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required with a strong preference in Electrical, Wireless, Computer, Network Engineering, Computer Science or Systems.
- 5+ years of experience as a Pre sales Engineer or Solutions Architecture.
- Fluent in English
- Live and work in Bogota
