Buscamos un especialista en seguros con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo.

El candidato ideal tendrá una sólida formación en gestión de cuentas por cobrar, verificación de prestaciones, facturación médica y documentación médica.

Otras responsabilidades incluyen la revisión de las tablas de tarifas para garantizar que los pagos se realizan de acuerdo con la normativa.

Este puesto requiere una capacidad organizativa excepcional y conocimientos de codificación y de las leyes de seguros pertinentes para la tramitación de reclamaciones.

Responsabilidades

  • Gestionar eficientemente las cuentas por cobrar poniéndose en contacto con las compañías de seguros para abordar las denegaciones de reclamaciones y garantizar el procesamiento oportuno de los pagos.
  • Conocedor de la cobertura del seguro y la elegibilidad de los beneficios para los pacientes
  • Revisar las listas de tarifas para asegurar que las cantidades permitidas adecuadas se pagaron de acuerdo con el reembolso aplicable para medicare, medicaid, o listas de tarifas comerciales.
  • Revisar y procesar la documentación médica para verificar su exactitud y cumplimiento
  • Manejar eficientemente las tareas de facturación médica
  • Familiaridad con HCPCS, ICD 10, y las directrices de Medicare
  • Asegurar la correcta codificación de los procedimientos médicos
  • Colaborar con el personal apropiado para resolver los problemas relacionados con los seguros.
Requisitos

  • Experiencia demostrada en verificación de seguros y facturación médica.
  • Conocimiento de LCD y políticas de cobertura médica
  • Familiaridad con HCPCS, ICD10, modificadores de facturación y Medicare y regulaciones de seguros aplicables
  • Fuertes habilidades organizativas para gestionar archivos y documentación de manera efectiva.
