Responsibilities:
- Process and review all accounts payable transactions
- Review and monitor accounts payable aging
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, communicating effectively to resolve inquiries and discrepancies
- Oversee weekly check runs, including check production, reviews, and electronic payments
- Prepare vendor checks for dispatch
- Create and manage purchase orders for various departments
- Verify vendor accounts through monthly reconciliation
Requirements:
- Preferably 2-4 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
- Experience in the transportation industry is a bonus
- Fluency in English is essential
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required
- Prior experience with Sage 300 is advantageous
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Customer service-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
