Key Responsibilities:- Invoice Processing: Prepare batches of invoices for data entry, data enter invoices for payment, process backup reports after data entry, and process invoices, payments, and check requests.
- Check Run Management: Manage the weekly check run process and additional check requests as necessary.
- Vendor Management: Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services, conduct vendor account reconciliations, and process Purchase Order/Voucher requests.
- Coding and Verification: Prepare coding of invoices and ensure accuracy using the appropriate general ledger codes, and verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Contract Maintenance: Ensure that contracts are paid as defined per the agreement.
- A/P Aging Report: Ensure the accuracy of the A/P Aging Report.
- Client Reporting: Assist with client reporting as required.
- Month-End Closing: Ensure the month-end closing process is done timely and accurately.
- Cost Savings: Find ways for the company to save money through the accounts payable process.
- Internal Controls: Report areas of improvement or recommendations on implementation and enforcement, and create, implement, and enforce proper internal controls.
- Education: College diploma and/or equivalent in accounting or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience is required.
- Language: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Skills: Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures, as well as knowledge of accounts payable and maintaining general ledgers.
