Position Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist/HR Business Partner is responsible for providing HR support to assigned teams and team members. This includes handling employee relations, salary management, performance reviews, recruitment, compensation, and talent development. The role involves collaborating with HR Manager to communicate and implement HR strategies and procedures within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to achieve business objectives and HR processes for a diverse team
- Provide guidance on various employment-related issues to leadership
- Facilitate HR processes and ensure fair and consistent operations
- Create and implement effective training programs
- Support employee engagement through programs and policies
- Offer counseling to employees and assist in conflict resolution
- Advocate for continuous improvement and efficiency optimization
- Assist in talent management and succession planning
- Ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks
- Support HR initiatives and share best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR and business partnership experience
- Knowledge of employment laws
- Strong leave administration skills
- Proficiency in HR systems and digital communication
- Problem-solving and relationship-building skills
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
- Interpersonal and proactive approach
- Ability to wear PPE and lift items
- Bilingualism is advantageous
- Experience in non-union manufacturing setting preferred
- PHR/SPHR certification is a bonus
