Besides investment initiatives, the funds also offer technical assistance to support investees, encourage responsible finance, and maximize impact in the regions they operate.

Finance Lawyer (m/f/d)

The Legal Department plays a crucial role in finance transactions with various stakeholders, collaborating with internal investment and risk management teams as well as external legal firms. This encompasses transactions such as lending, corporate finance, bond investments, project finance, and equity. The Legal Department also addresses the pertinent regulatory and statutory legal obligations concerning Finance in Motion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure, draft, negotiate, and execute finance, corporate finance, and investment transactions, including bond investments.
  • Provide legal counsel to Finance in Motion regarding regulatory and statutory requirements in the relevant operational countries, with assistance from external local legal advisors.
  • Engage in negotiations on a variety of legal matters with international stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external parties.

What we expect:

  • Fully qualified attorney or equivalent foreign qualification. Familiarity with New York law or English law finance transactions, along with capital markets law expertise, would be significant advantages.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Relevant experience in the field.
  • Attention to detail and a pragmatic approach, balancing commercial considerations with the bigger picture.
  • High level of independence, proactivity, and strong negotiation skills in an international context.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the vision and mission of Finance in Motion.
