We are seeking a Financial Accountant to become a vital part of our finance team.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a premier provider of integrated transportation solutions for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a robust fleet of over 45,000 tank containers, STC operates a unique global network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices for STC Colombia through our internal electronic system.
  • Record and manage incoming cash receipts.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journal entries as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements for STC Colombia, including variance analysis.
  • Support the preparation of VAT returns, withholding tax, industry commerce tax, and other statutory filings for STC Colombia.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of the annual income tax return alongside the Accounting Manager and local tax advisors.
  • Facilitate internal audits by providing necessary documentation and liaising with local staff during operational reviews.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of general accounting experience, ideally within a multinational or industry-specific organization.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experienced user of ERP Systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
