We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive entry-level Sales Assistant to be the key support for our Sales Enablement Coordinator and the sales team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth execution of the sales process, maintaining CRM accuracy, and freeing the sales team to focus on selling.

Note: This role requires availability from 9 AM–6 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Sales Assistant acts as the operational backbone for the sales team, primarily focusing on:
  • Deal Flow & Administration: Support deal execution by collecting missing documents, coordinating handoffs (Implementation, Finance), and ensuring contracts/proposals are accurate and delivered on time.
  • CRM Ownership: Maintain complete, accurate, and clean data in the CRM (Zoho) daily. Update deal statuses, manage client details, and remind the sales team of missing information or follow-ups.
  • Scheduling & Documentation: Book meetings, manage sales calendars, take detailed notes on sales calls, and draft/finalize professional proposals and client documents.
  • Reporting: Generate and maintain weekly sales reports, update monthly leadership dashboards, and prepare sales meeting materials (PowerPoint).
  • Sales Tool Management: Own the setup and upkeep of sales tools, trackers, and proposal templates.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years in administrative, sales support, or business operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Docs, Slides)
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn CRM systems (preferably Zoho).
  • Strong note-taking and document formatting. Basic comfort with numbers/pricing.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. Proactive—takes initiative and follows through on tasks until completion. Dependable with deadlines. Strong written/verbal communication for professional client interaction. Team player.
