Job Summary:

The Collections Team Lead will be responsible for managing the company's receivables, identifying troubled accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor loan aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and develop strategies for collection.
  2. Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and account status.
  3. Communicate with borrowers to solicit payment and resolve outstanding balances.
  4. Review severely delinquent loans and recommend migration to non-performing status when collection efforts are no longer productive.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in collections, customer service, or a related field.
  2. Loan/mortgage industry experience preferred.
  3. 100% fluency in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  6. Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  7. Excellent attention to detail.
