Technical Support Specialist

CSG Systems is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide top-notch assistance to our customers. With expertise in Redhat Linux, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, analyzing problems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
About the Role:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will work closely with our technical and business teams to resolve technical issues, provide solutions, and ensure seamless customer experiences. Your strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities will enable you to build trust with our customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize Redhat Linux system utilities and logs to identify and resolve errors
• Analyze complex problems to determine potential solutions
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with technical and business representatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Redhat Linux, UNIX systems, and shell scripting (BASH, Perl, sed/awk)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call rotation and adapt to changing priorities
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and/or Remedy preferred
