Job Title: Principal Technical Support Engineer

CommScope is seeking a highly skilled Principal Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Support and Services (CSS) team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and internal engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to wireless networking and switch networking.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to debug and resolve software and hardware defects.
  • Develop and publish knowledge base articles to share with customers and internal technical support engineers.
  • Provide on-site support to customers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or relevant experience in technical field.
  • 7+ years of work experience in wireless networking.
  • Expert level in wireless 802.11 protocols, WAP, WLC, WLAN security, SSL certificate, TCP/IP, RADIUS, LDAP, and packet capture analysis.
  • System experience in Windows and Linux server platform, VM platform (VMware and KVM), and Azure, AWS, and GCE cloud platform.
