The Role

As a Programmatic Account Lead at Genius Sports, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences through the development and implementation of custom digital advertising campaigns. To excel in this role, you will require a deep understanding of programmatic marketing and demand-side platforms.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with our Trading Teams in Colombia and Estonia to design and execute client strategies, monitor campaign progress, and provide regular insights and recommendations. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving adoption.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Tier 1 accounts, overseeing client strategy and implementation across their product and brand portfolios.
  • Forecasting spend and revenue for each client account, with a focus on securing client retention and driving adoption growth.
  • Mapped to middle-tier decision makers and technical buyers at Tier 1 organizations.
  • Collaboration with the Head of Account Management, VP of Client Growth, and Head of Media Sales for LATAM to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Tier 2, 3, and 4 accounts, mapped to senior and middle-tier key stakeholders.
  • Accountable for account strategy, strategy reviews, campaign activation, analysis, troubleshooting, and service process.

Other Core Responsibilities

  • Contribution to Account Management and Sales teams in developing strong Position of Value (POV) statements for Genius Marketing Suite products and industry topics, in collaboration with the CS leadership team.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, with a focus on programmatic demand-side platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial and/or business development capacity.
  • Proven success in managing a customer portfolio and exceeding client expectations.
  • Experience with Demand Side Platforms and Ad Serving technologies is essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work, remain flexible, and work in a proactive manner.
  • A network of local digital media contacts in the region.
  • A keen interest in digital media and ad tech.
