About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Components Support Specialist to join our team at Quorum Software. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, ensuring their success with our Energy Components software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2 application software support and manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve code errors and bug issues within software applications, adhering to Service Level Agreements.
  • Participate in configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software changes.
  • Assess customer-reported issues to determine prioritization and ensure timely resolution.
  • Implement and support master data management solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.
  • Manage and document assigned incidents, including internal and external communications.
  • Provide technical knowledge sharing and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Work closely with the Continuous Service Manager to improve processes and deliver high-quality standards and products.
  • Maintain strong adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for periodic after-hours on-call support for critical issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in delivering solution support or solution implementation.
  • Strong technical skills in software technologies such as Java, Oracle PL/SQL within Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, solving code errors, and fixing bug issues within software applications.
  • Good experience in writing monitoring and automation scripts using Perl or Shell.
  • Experience in Datacenter & Cloud Infrastructure services (i.e., AWS and Azure) is an added advantage.
  • ITIL Concepts of IT Service Management and experience in using IT Service Management Tools (Salesforce, ServiceNOW, JIRA, ADO, etc.) to manage Customer Service Management engagements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and provide short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in writing and verbal communication to stakeholders in English.
  • Ability to set achievable goals and deadlines and maintain commitment to achieving goals in the face of obstacles and frustrations.
  • A team player and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Additional Details
  • Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver's License Verification, and Passport/ID validation.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
  • Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate will be required to present their professional card or registration information if the role is deemed to be regulated.
  • Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an onboarding medical examination prior to commencement of employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.
