What You Will Do:

  • Deliver Level 2 Application Software Support for Energy Components (EC), managing Incident, Service Request, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software application issues within established SLAs.
  • Engage in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases of software modifications.
  • Assess and prioritize customer-reported issues effectively.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience through timely responses and support resolutions.
  • Implement and maintain master data management solutions.
  • Integrate technical expertise with business acumen to provide customer solutions.
  • Document incidents and manage communications thoroughly.
  • Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Service Manager to enhance processes and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements consistently.
  • Work effectively with global cross-functional teams.
  • Provide after-hours on-call support for critical issues as needed.
  • Ensure the successful completion of personal and team objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What to Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in solution support or implementation.
  • Proficiency in software technologies such as Java and Oracle PL/SQL in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving software application issues.
  • Experience in writing monitoring and automation scripts using Perl or Shell.
  • Familiarity with Datacenter & Cloud Infrastructure services (e.g., AWS and Azure) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and their application in IT Customer Support.
  • Experience with IT Service Management Tools (Salesforce, ServiceNOW, JIRA, ADO, etc.) for managing customer engagements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry or hydrocarbon accounting is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals while overcoming challenges.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Background Check: Successful candidates will undergo various clearances, including Criminal History Check and Education Verification.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
