The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team in Central America, Andina & The Caribbean Sea Area (CAC). This individual will play a critical role in supporting business growth, financial health, and operational excellence within CAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all internal control and compliance requirements are regularly reviewed and met, and that corrective actions are taken to mitigate any overall risk to the Area.
  • Deliver regular reporting to drive business performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a bridge between Finance and Operations to ensure that reporting reflects a true and fair representation of the underlying business.
  • Collaborate with the Area Business Controller community to drive standard execution and KPIs improvement.
  • Drive process improvements and implement upstream process enhancements in line with industry standards and controls.
  • Provide forward-looking and independently initiated analysis on margins, trends, and productivity to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and interest in process and systems of relevant product.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret and relay technical messages between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong lean and continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on driving operational excellence.
  • Good customer-centricity mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, P&L analysis, KPIs, and operational management.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and detail-focused, with a strong ability to analyze data and drive insights.
  • High competency in written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Team player with a strong ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve results and foster a culture of teamwork.
  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders, manage expectations, and influence without authority.
  • Shipping/Transportation industry experience is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel macros and pivot tables, and SAP is highly desirable.
