About the Role

This position reports to Sales Manager Drives and is part of the Motion business line in Colombia and Ecuador.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to customers, channels, and Sales Specialists on ABB products, systems, and applications.
  • Conduct analytic and diagnostic studies to determine optimal technical solutions for customers and address complex inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain new sales opportunities, resolve customer problems, and ensure achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Ensure budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across assigned product groups and countries.
  • Understand and follow global or assigned area standards, market and customer requirements, and their impact on the current offer portfolio.
  • Conduct market size and trend analysis, competitor analysis, and identify offering gaps and evaluate ABB's market standing.
  • Ensure technical solutions can be used across the Product Group's offer portfolio to the maximum possible extent.
  • Manage technical specifications of assigned products and support Product Manager in developing business cases on offer developments, maintenance, and cost reduction.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in similar positions, working with variable frequency drives (VFDs).
  • Highly skilled in the oil and gas market (desirable).
  • Enhanced knowledge of CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
  • Availability to travel.
