About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner Specialist to join our team at ScotiaTech. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in driving the development of new products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and roadmap
  • Develop and maintain product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and customer needs
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure product alignment with business objectives and customer expectations
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure successful product delivery
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring that product development meets customer needs and expectations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in product development, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Experience working in an agile environment is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of software technologies and iterative development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
