Job Description:

  • Drive sales objectives and achieve commercial targets by identifying new sales opportunities and building strong client relationships.
  • BUILD A HIGH-PERFORMING TEAM BY PROVIDING STRONG MENTORSHIP, COACHING, AND GUIDANCE TO ENSURE TIMELY RECOGNITION AND REWARD FOR TOP ACHIEVERS.
  • Ensure timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implement performance management actions when needed.
  • ENSURE PROPER USE OF THE DATABASE AND TOOLS TO TRACK PERFORMANCE AND BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS.
  • MAPPING THE COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE AND PROVIDING REGULAR ANALYSIS TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT THROUGH LEADS AND TARGET CLIENTS.
  • GENERATING LEADS VIA COLD CALLING, EMAILING, AND OTHER LEAD GENERATION ACTIVITIES TO DRIVE SALES PROCESS TO CLOSE NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience within a B2B Sales/Account Executive or Inside Sales/Sales Development Representative role, ideally within the Mining and Transport & Logistics industry.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
  • EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL AS WELL AS WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL.
  • You are a strong networker and relationship builder who can build high-performing teams.
  • STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS AND COMFORTABLE DEALING WITH NUMERICAL DATA IS A MUST.
