Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our expanding team in the Latin America region. This role involves providing top-notch technical support to customers related to our innovative NIQ Activate product, collaborating with customer success managers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries and technical issues, as well as fulfilling incoming requests such as user set-ups and configurations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and ownership of assigned customers' issues and tasks. They will provide enterprise-level technical support to customers and prospects via a support ticketing system within Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Key responsibilities include:
- Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve customer technical issues
- Collaborating internally and supporting the technical onboarding of new customers, including users' set-ups, configurations, etc.
- Documenting knowledge and educating colleagues and teammates on technical cases
- Staying current with product knowledge and latest features and functionality
In order to succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. You must possess strong SQL background and excellent written and verbal client communication skills. A good level of written and spoken English and Spanish is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus points if you have experience in technical support or software product implementations, knowledge in Linux systems, utilities, and scripting, experience with supporting an analytic product in a SaaS environment, or knowledge of ETL processes.
