Senior Sales Engineer

Job Summary:
We seek a skilled Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Alfa Laval. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and concluding direct sales of our products and services within a defined area of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services.
- Analyze and understand market insights and customer buying behavior to make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.
- Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them into real business opportunities to ensure the pipeline.
- Be active in the market, focusing on making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers to understand their needs and highlight the value of our products and services.
- Run the commercial operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools. Build and maintain a sufficient network at customers.
- Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting customer needs, stressing the unique selling points, and follow up to get a hit-rate.
- Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way to support the sales process and take decisions.
- Be an active mentor of the Field Sales Engineer team in the sales process.
- Work proactive and structured with the sales to optimize the sales efficiency.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)
- Strong communication skills
- Advance/Intermediate English proficiency
- Broad experience on technical sales for refineries, O&G, inorganic chem., petrochemical, and/or energy-related companies
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in similar positions
