Role Overview

In the position of Payments Assistant (Refunds), you will be tasked with the accurate and timely processing of reimbursement requests from our merchants across the Latin American region (spanning 7 countries), adhering to the established protocols specific to each nation. You will also provide support across various processes within the payments team.

Key Responsibilities

Process refunds to merchants via the designated networks, ensuring compliance with defined service level agreements (SLAs). Develop and maintain management indicators. Manage tickets submitted by our merchants and internal customers. Assist with Merchant Payment processes. Create discretionary transactions. Perform additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications for Success

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in financial institutions (such as banks) and customer service roles. Experience with payment platforms, electronic payments, or fintech is preferred. Educational background or professional training in business administration (beyond the 4th semester), accounting, industrial engineering, or related fields. Over one year of experience as a customer service assistant in banking environments. Proficiency in intermediate Excel skills. Optional: Familiarity with SQL queries.
