Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Virtual Professional. As an Operations Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support across all areas of operations and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across operational functions and safety
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute daily reporting for customers and internal use
  • Data entry and review of driver documentation
  • Ensure load documentation is complete at all stages of the load
  • Provide real-time communications to customers regarding the progress of their loads
  • Review, update, and maintain data entered on each load
  • Assist with scheduling and planning, including scheduling container pickup and return appointments and deliveries and pickups with customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • Obsession with attention to detail
  • High self-initiative with ability to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
