Position Overview
As a Construction Superintendent, you will oversee daily operations at various construction sites, ensuring that projects are carried out efficiently from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include managing subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets, and prioritizing safety as a fundamental principle.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Work closely with the Project Manager to define project scope, maintain comprehensive project reports, and facilitate project closeout processes.
- Subcontractor Management: Directly supervise subcontractors and job site activities in accordance with Bilfinger's standards.
- Scheduling: Create and monitor project schedules to ensure compliance with planned activities and milestones.
- Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and local compliance at all times.
Due to the nature of this role, significant travel is required to manage projects across various locations in the United States. As a Construction Superintendent, you will engage in both administrative duties and on-site inspections, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions. Additionally, the position requires physical endurance to navigate challenging environments and terrains.
