Job Overview

The Quality Support Center (QSC) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance and activities within the QSC, including training, Computer System Validation, and supplier management. This role ensures that the quality policy and objectives are effectively communicated and maintained in accordance with healthcare guidelines such as cGMP, GDP, GMP, and ISO 9001/ISO 13485 standards. The supervisor develops standard operating procedures (SOPs), reviews and approves work instructions, and provides training to personnel and internal clients on SOPs and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage Quality records, including validation, supplier management, and training, ensuring alignment with the quality policy and consistent change management practices. Oversee and execute the Quality System Training Program. Manage validation documentation, determine applicable regulations, and review and approve testing of changes to validated systems. Conduct reviews of policies, procedures, regulations, and specific work instructions. Establish criteria for trending quality data to assist with performance evaluation. Participate in regular internal and external meetings and management reviews relevant to the area of responsibility. Provide training, support, and development opportunities for direct reports. Manage resources and personnel processes to ensure effective administration of daily operations and formal procedures. Direct and coordinate team activities, including regular training on change controls and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with various country regulations and ISO 9001/ISO 13485 standards is preferred. Proficient in English Strong project management capabilities. Excellent analytical and people management skills. Knowledgeable in Quality Management Systems and electronic Management Systems (eQMS). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). Ability to build networks and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Capacity to prioritize decisions that may carry significant risk for the organization. Identify potential process gaps and recommend improvements. Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry in a Quality role.
