About the Role

The Consumer Credit Review Specialist is a key position within GM Financial's International Operations, responsible for conducting monthly sample reviews and targeted reviews for Chile and Colombia. This role plays a crucial part in identifying improvement opportunities and trends related to fraud control, credit risk policy, portfolio, originations, and communicating them to the Credit Review Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of the underwriting, purchase, and credit risk process to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Review Manager to strengthen the oversight ecosystem and drive strong credit risk management.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Design and execute quality control plans to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Document findings clearly and accurately, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns.
  • Competency with credit systems, including CRT, SRS, Neurotech, ELS, and Total Check.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • English language proficiency, with knowledge of Power BI and SAS (desirable).
