Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Credit Management Strategies: Design and execute a comprehensive credit management strategy to minimize DSO, aging, and write-offs.
- Manage Customer Credit Limits: Ensure that customer credit limits are aligned with the business unit strategy and that sign-offs are obtained in accordance with the Delegated Authority Matrix.
- Monitor Credit Worthiness: Proactively monitor customer credit worthiness and determine actions to be taken in response to changes in status that may impact DSO.
- Embed Business Rules: Set and monitor compliance with business unit rules for approval or order releases in accordance with the S&N Delegation of Authority Matrix.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with commercial teams, collections team leads, and finance operation controllers to ensure effective credit management and collections.
- Provide Training and Support: Mentor and train credit and collections staff on market specifics and credit management group strategy and procedures.
- Public Accountant or Business Administrator: A minimum of 5 years' experience in credit management and collections, with a strong background in financial analysis and proposal development.
- Financial Analysis and Credit Risk Management: Demonstrated experience in analyzing financial data, drawing sound conclusions, and developing proposals and solutions.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- English Fluency: English fluency is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.
