Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our team at S&P Global. As a Credit Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of financial institutions and debt issuers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of a portfolio of financial institutions and debt issuers, identifying potential credit risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Surveillance and Research: Conduct regular surveillance of rated debt issues and issuer's ratings, staying up-to-date on market trends and developments.
- Rating Methodology: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of S&P Global's rating methodology and criteria, applying this knowledge to evaluate credit risk.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze credit risk, using tools such as Excel and financial data.
- Industry Monitoring: Stay current on industry developments and trends, identifying potential credit risks and opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure consistent and accurate credit risk evaluations.
Requirements:
- Education: Postgraduate studies in a business-related field, such as finance or accounting.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the financial institutions or debt ratings sector.
- Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, and a strong understanding of financial modeling and credit risk analysis.
- Language: Advanced bilingual English level (B2 high or C1).
