Job Overview

At GfK, we empower consumers by allowing their insights to influence the development of products and services. We are currently seeking a Client Manager to enhance our sales team in Colombia.

As a Client Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main liaison and fostering enduring relationships with clients.
  • Cultivating a trusted advisor role with a comprehensive understanding of client requirements.
  • Formulating strategic plans to enhance client outcomes.
  • Negotiating agreements with clients and establishing performance timelines.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to onboard new clients and nurture existing relationships, optimizing profitability through up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Managing communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Partnering with the operations team (including quotations managers and project managers) dedicated to the same client account to ensure top-quality delivery and fulfillment of client needs.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account status, objectives, and quarterly initiatives for team members and stakeholders.
  • Addressing client issues and complaints effectively.
  • Analyzing client data to derive insights for customer relationship management.
  • Ensuring timely and successful delivery of our solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Maintaining high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional daily service.

To excel in the role of Client Manager, the following qualifications and skills are essential:

  • Education: BA/BS in Social Sciences, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the market research sector.
  • Strong presentation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of market trends and evolving customer needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Understanding of market indicators such as demand and billing.
  • Proficiency in English or other languages is a plus.
  • Experience with customer engagement platforms like LinkedIn or Hubspot is desirable.
