Sales Development Manager Job Description
SD Solutions is looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our global team
This role is responsible for managing, developing, and coaching a team of outbound sales development representatives. The successful candidate will be a pro at outbound prospecting and have a passion for developing qualified opportunities with our targeted accounts through strategy, thought leadership, and partnering with sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Develop a Team: Lead, develop, and coach a team of sales development representatives to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Prospecting and Qualification: Develop and execute a prospecting strategy to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Sales Enablement: Partner with the sales team to provide training, coaching, and support to ensure sales representatives have the tools and expertise needed to close deals.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Track and communicate progress against sales targets, providing accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management team.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of running a metric-driven business with a consistent history of achieving sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the fintech industry and the global payables automation market.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
