Strategic Contract Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Contract Manager to join our team at Compass Pointe Consulting, LLC. This role will play a critical part in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that drive business growth and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex contracts with multiple stakeholders and timelines. Strong negotiation skills, an understanding of legal principles, and contract law are essential for success in this role.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field is required, along with 3-5 years of contract management experience. Certification in commercial contracts management (CCCM), federal contracting (CFCM), or professional contracts management (CPCM) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms with vendors, clients, and other parties to ensure fair and beneficial agreements.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts, implementing strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Ensure all contracts adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor contract performance, track key milestones, and manage contract amendments and renewals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal teams, procurement departments, and sales teams, to manage contract processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
- Strong negotiation skills and an understanding of legal principles and contract law.
