About the Job

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a highly skilled Protection Specialist/Analyst to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a key member of our regional office, you will play a crucial role in implementing the ProLAC Initiative, which aims to strengthen the protective environment in Latin America for persons of concern.

Key Responsibilities
  • Harmonize Protection Monitoring tools for humanitarian organizations operating in at least 9 countries in Latin America.
  • Provide technical trainings and capacity building on Protection Information Management (PIM) and the use of harmonized Protection Monitoring tools to field teams.
  • Lead the Protection analysis process to produce evidence-based regional and country Protection Analyses.
  • Ensure systematic documentation and reporting of capacity building and training results.
  • Collaborate with the ProLAC Initiative team and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience in protection humanitarian projects at national and/or international level.
  • Experience in working in humanitarian protection sector in complex crisis situations.
  • Field experience in protection programming for at least 2 years, especially in protection monitoring.
  • Prior experience with Protection Information Management (PIM) for humanitarian organizations.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
