We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our programs, ensuring that we are doing everything possible to protect and care for vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective protection strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our programs.
  • Provide technical assistance to our teams, including training and capacity building, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to protect children.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop plans to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our protection efforts are integrated into all aspects of our work.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as social work, human rights, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in child protection, including experience in developing and implementing protection strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
