Attesa Coffee is a specialty green coffee sourcing and distribution company based in Amsterdam. We work closely with trusted farmers and producing partners at origin to ensure reliable, consistent & transparent sourcing.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with green coffee providers, conducting market research, and communicating with management and sales teams.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with green coffee providers such as specialty coffee producers / farmers, coffee cooperatives, exporters in South and Central America
  • Conduct market research on specialty coffee producers, and origins, as well as gather information about coffee events
  • Communicate with management and sales team on coffee information and farm details

The ideal candidate will have prior experience/knowledge/understanding in specialty coffee, be fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish, and proficient with Microsoft Excel and Canva.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and translating marketing materials for external communications with partners
  • Responsible for launching sales related communication material, and efficiently following up on information in the CRM to optimize.
  • Assist logistics team in managing transport / freight related communication to ensure shipments are moved in a timeline manner
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Prior experience/knowledge/understanding in specialty coffee
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Canva

You should also be a team player/problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions, and willing to learn and develop a career in the Coffee Industry.

Location and Benefits
