Risk & Claims Services Specialist

As a Risk & Claims Services Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will be responsible for managing and processing claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer complaints, and maintaining accurate records of claims and related documentation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including claims handlers, underwriters, and risk managers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Your Responsibilities- Manage and process claims from receipt to closure, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Investigate and analyze claims to determine liability and potential losses.
- Communicate with customers, agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates on claim status and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims, including documentation, correspondence, and settlement details.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and develop strategies to prevent future claims.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement in claims handling and risk management.
- Develop and implement training programs for claims handlers and other staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in claims handling and risk management.
- Professional experience in claims handling, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to investigate and analyze complex claims.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers, agents, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
